I've tried typing the beginning to this blog post several times. Deleting the sentence over and over. The reality is there is no great way to start this off. This isn't Caleb or Mimi sending out a blog update, but a close family member on behalf of Mimi. On Monday, November 23rd, Caleb suffered a massive heart attack after a short run and was called home to our Lord. After an autopsy was performed they found an 80% - 90% blockage in the arteries to his heart. In addition, there was scarring from a previous heart attack that he/we were un aware of. Caleb was loved by so many and the outpouring of love and support to Mimi and the boys has been nothing short of a blessing.
Caleb used his heart to the fullest, dedicated to serving and helping others. His work with Safe Families, YWAM, 180 House, Harbor58 and many other organizations will live on forever and the people he impacted will carry his legacy beyond our imagination. Just a week or so before his passing, Mimi and Caleb did an amazing podcast together. Something we are all thankful for that Mimi will have forever. Reliving and giving their testament to everything the Lord provided for them and through them, on their journey. Caleb wouldn't want you to mourn his life, he was so full of life and he would want you to celebrate his life that he had here and his new life walking with Jesus.
