Mahalo from the Bell tribe!
We’ll keep this update somewhat short as we are posting from our phone at a campsite along the bluffs of the Mississippi in Minnesota.
The past few weeks have been a blur, seeing friends and family and making new friends along the way. We would appreciate your prayers as we continue on our US road trip in sharing the vision for the new ministry we are embarking on with YWAM Ships.
In this update we’ll list a few highlights from our time on the road and a glimpse of where we will be headed.
Our first stop was visiting our family in NC, the 6 cousins had an epic time together!
From there we visited some dear friends that were part of our DTS in Kona over a year ago who also live in North Carolina. Banyan and Caleb took that time to head out with Troy and his boys along with 30 other guys to the woods of Virginia for some backwoods camping, canoeing and “iron sharpening iron” time. Around the campfire, Caleb was able to share with all of the other men about Harbor 58 and YWAM ships. It was an incredible experience and a great bonding time for the boys!
We then headed off to the Outer Banks of NC to camp for a night, while taking some time for GloBell schooling at the Wright brothers monument. From there we headed to the coast of Virginia to camp for a few nights. The Lord placed our campsite right next to another family with 3 boys who we’re also believers... it was an incredible gift and we all became fast friends!
One of our most anticipated stops was with the other half of our family, the Thompsons, who recently relocated from Florida to Lancaster, PA. It was a sweet reunion in Amish country and our time with them went far too fast!
From there we headed out to Ohio to visit one of Caleb’s best friends (who also is on the board of Harbor 58) and his sweet family. They gathered a big group of friends for a BBQ the day we arrived for us to share about the vision of YWAM Ships. It was an encouraging time of fellowship, and meeting new friends. After that, all of us headed out to upper Michigan to camp for a few days at Ludington State park. It was such a beautiful location, even if our last night ended with one of the biggest thunderstorms we had ever been in....(in a tent!)
While we were there our friend and fellow YWAMer
Tobias met up with us. It was such sweet reunion since we haven’t seen him since France.
He hopped in the car and will be joining us all the way to his hometown of Sacramento, CA! We are so thrilled to have him with us!
At the last minute we were invited to stay with a dear friend who happened to be in Michigan at her family’s cabin. It was such a treat and a blessing to spend 2 days with them living the “upper life” in the UP of Michigan!
From here we will be headed to South Dakota, visiting another family who was part of our DTS. They have a ministry on their property that we are excited to see while we are there.
Wyoming, Montana (where we will be sharing at a local church in Helena), Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Alabama and finally back to Florida at the end of August.
We might not be able to post another update until we return in late August as cell service is pretty spotty at most of the camp spots we have visited on the road. (And all WiFi spots are basically shut down at the moment.)
We covet your prayers and value your partnership as we head out in this new venture with YWAM Ships in a few months!
If you would like to partner with us for our vision casting trip or in the next season with YWAM Ships, you can do that via the partnership page, and if you have any questions or prayer requests send us an email!

Oh and PS.... big, big, news! (Which we probably should have started with), Sebastian prayed and gave his life to Jesus today!! Heaven and our family are rejoicing!
